Description: This episode shows how to build a DIY concrete bench from a reclaimed wood beam and a GFRC concrete base. The reclaimed wood is stabilized with epoxy resin. I’m really happy with the shape of the concrete base, which inlays with a cutout in the reclaimed wood beam. I think the white epoxy resin filling the crack in the wood beam is a perfect complement to the dark concrete base. The concrete is stained black with India ink, and then sealed with an acrylic concrete sealer.
